First Rain brings much needed respite from the blistering heat by the cool and refreshing showers. Doesn’t First Rain remind us of our childhood days when we use to make paper boats and play with them in puddle of water formed across the street or get scolded by mom for dirtying our school dress, shoes by jumping into to muddy pot holes while returning from school.,,, and our prayers to rain God so that we can bunk school to escape from the assignments .
I have very special memories of rain , as a child I was crazy about raincoats and my dad use to get us colorful raincoats and when ever it drizzels 
hot pakodas , jeelebis and Biryani is a must . even now it rains it reminds me of all those memories,,, as kids in school we all use to get drenched in water …..and comes the college Then in teenage First Rain sets your heart pounding with love, 
You want to walk in the rain hand in hand with that ‘special someone’ not worrying about the world .Then sitting in wayside Chat bandar and having hot chat , and hot samosas Yes First Rain evokes the romantic person in you and you feel a sense of freedom to run around without caring a damn about anything.
Long walks and drives in rain has its own magic ….. Rains have started in hyd early this week but due to work I dint get chance to enjoy the long drive so I made it a point not to miss my ride this weekend ,,, I started towards Airport road as I start I can already see the love birds already taking the joy of rain ,I love the fog which covers the glass , droplets falling on car windows ,the hot bajiis, smooky corns roadside welcoming me all the way ,,, thunders wishing me and the wet roads with bushy trees either way of the roads talking to each other by its extended branches .The actual color of trees can be seen in the rainy season the mushy green just attracts the vision ,
the leaves with droplets of water and the aroma of the wet sand drives me totally crazy ,,,,, the FM to takes it share for the romantic ride by playing the best rain and romantic songs , it will be a musical feast by all FM channels my favourite no is “vallantha thullintha “ from gharshana.
I loved my long drive by enjoying the rain , green trees , wide roads , I just love the atmosphere of Rainy season and the whole greenery in itself iam looking forward to enjoy more of it ,,,,,, I think every one of us love rains and iam no exception so hey rain “ NUVUVASTANTE NENU VADANTANA” ?
